ALLSOP POPPINS

Inspired by works of Francis Bacon, Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein, David Hockney, Andy Warhol & Jeff Koons. My other main inspirations are music and film. My work focus on pop art and surrealist imagery. I love colour and all of my work (apart from my commission work) so far has been my own interpretations with no reference point. Taking this approach my work is expressive and abstract with no real intention of creating a like for like version of what I am painting. This allows for my work to be unique and have a "one of kind" feel to each painting.

Thanks to technology I use a tablet for my paintings. I find it is the best option for me as it gives me the flexibility I need.
